Hi, I’m Susana Londono, a Research Manager at LDA Research, specialising in research across Latin America and Spain.
I joined LDA in June 2024, bringing with me a background in market research, having previously worked as a research analyst. My role involves managing projects from end to end, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and leading recruitment activities to ensure we engage the right participants for each study. While my specialism is LATAM and Spain, I have the opportunity to work across a variety of global markets, which keeps every project interesting and different.
One of my favourite aspects of working at LDA is knowing that our work contributes to a much bigger purpose. Many of the projects we support help patients living with rare diseases continue to advocate for their conditions. It’s rewarding to know that the insights we gather can play a small part in the ongoing development of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, ultimately helping improve understanding, treatments and patient outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking along the beautiful South Wales coastline with my partner and our dog Pep, spending time in the garden, and getting lost in a good book. I’ve also had the opportunity to live in 5 different countries (Colombia, US, New Zealand, England and Wales), which has given me a real appreciation for different cultures, perspectives and ways of life, something that I find invaluable in international research.
I’m proud to be part of the talented team at LDA Research and excited to continue contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference!
