Welcoming our new senior research manager Julia Heck

LDA Research has recently welcomed Julia Heck to our team as Senior Research Manager. Market research holds a special place in Julia’s heart as she met her fiancé at her first job.

Julia is from Munich, Germany and has lived in the UK for more than a decade. She is fluent in German and English. And was awarded a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology by the University of Manchester.

‘I have worked in market research for more than four years now. I started as a PM in a small qual fieldwork agency that did b2b, b2c and healthcare, went on to work as a researcher for both qual and quant in the financial sector, then worked as a quant PM, and have now arrived in healthcare at LDA! I’ve seen all areas and industries of market research, working on international qual & quant projects before, many with US clients, and I like the fact it definitely keeps you on your toes,’ she said.

Her role at LDA Research will include project managing, liaising with clients & suppliers, keeping project documentation up to date, maintaining quality & managing timelines, project quotations, and business development support including our in house German market research offering.

‘Working in medical market research is definitely very cool & inspiring – to think we can help shape the future of healthcare with the insights our clients are getting from our respondents is fascinating.’

In her free time she likes sitting in the sunshine in a beer garden drinking Aperol Spritz, swimming in one of the lakes in Munich, or wearing her dirndl and going to Oktoberfest in Munich.
